Huawei nova Flip S debuts in China with new colors and lower starting price

Huawei unveiled its latest flip foldable in China with the Nova Flip S. As the name implies, this model is quite similar to theNova Flip, which launched in August last year but the S model introduces new colors and a revised pricing.

You can pick up the nova Flip S in Feather Black, White, Azure Blue, Green, Soft Pink or Star Black colors. Huawei also lowered the starting price of the phone toCNY 3,388 ($475)for the 8/256GB trim. This makes the nova Flip S, one of the most affordable foldables in China.

The phone is also equipped with an unnamed Kirin 8 series which according to the most recentrumorsis the Kirin 8030. As a reminder, the regular nova Flip used the Kirin 8000.

The rest of the specs are identical to the nova Flip. This means a 2.14-inch OLED cover display, a 6.94-inch LTPO OLED (FHD+ 1-120Hz) and a 4,400mAh battery with 66W wired charging.

The cameras include a 50MP main shooter with a 1/1.56-inch RYYB sensor and f/1.9 aperture, alongside an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 32MP front-facing camera. Huawei nova Flip S boots HarmonyOS 5.1 and is currently on pre-order in China.
