Redmi has confirmed that itsupcoming K90 serieswill be unveiled in China this month. It was originally expected to launch in November, but the company has moved up the launch window.
The Redmi K90 series will also include a new Pro Max variant this year, Xiaomi President Lu Weibing revealed in a Weibo post. The model is claimed to be a ‘true flagship’.
According to Redmi, the K90 Pro Max will be priced above CNY 4,000 ($560). It appears that the K90 series will skip the Pro model this time, with the K90 serving as the base variant and the Pro Max positioned as the top-end option.
Redmi could equip the K90 Pro Max with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and the K90 may use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC. The Redmi K90 series is alsorumoredto offer a periscope telephoto camera.
