The thin and lightMoto X70 Airis not the only new Motorola smartphone launched today, as it’s joined by a new variant of theMoto G100.
We say new since Motorola already used the moniker for theMoto G100 (2021)nearly four years ago but the new version comes with a few notable upgrades.
The key one is the much larger battery, which comes in at 7,000 mAh and supports 30W charging. You also get a more recent, though still two-year-oldSnapdragon 7s Gen 2chipset at the helm, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
There’s a 6.72-inch IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate upfront. It is joined by a 32MP selfie shooter while the back houses a 50MP main cam alongside an 8MP ultrawide lens. The phone boots Android 15 and features IP64 ingress protection
These specs are similar to the recently leakedMoto G36, which may end up being the international variant of the new Moto G100.
Lenovo China has the Moto G100 listed atCNY 1,399 ($196)in its 8/128GB trim and is currently on pre-sale in China. Shipments are expected to start on October 23.
