Rough sketch of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 surfaces, suggests a design change

Buried deep in one of the early leaked One UI 8.5 builds,Android Authorityspotted a reference to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Buds 4. Interestingly, the reference comes in the form of an icon.

The early One UI 8.5 build contains icons of Samsung's smart wearables, including the still-unreleased Galaxy Buds 4. The icon below was found with the file name "list_ic_earbuds_buds4", so it's safe to assume that these are indeed the Buds 4.

And even though this appears to be a rough sketch of the Galaxy Buds 4, it suggests a design change. Just look at the icon of the Buds 3 in the same firmware. There's clearly a design distinction.

Since Samsung began referencing the Buds 4 in its software builds, the launch of the Buds 4 series is likely imminent. After all, the Buds 3 series came out in July last year, so the earbuds are overdue for an upgrade. Then again, information about the Galaxy Buds 4 and 4 Pro is quite scarce, so we might not be as close to a release as we initially thought.
