A year ago, we asked you foryour thoughts on the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro. Back then, things leaned in favor of the more capable Pro model. Last week, weasked you a similar questionthis time featuring the new 15T duo.
Xiaomi 15T (left) and Xiaomi 15T Pro (right)
While things were relatively close before, the Pro now dominates its vanilla sibling – theXiaomi 15T Prois the preferred model by a wide margin. Some found great deals on the Pro and are happy with the phone – people praised its Dimensity 9400+ chipset and its camera performance. Some knocked it for its optical fingerprint reader, though.
If you find a great deal, then the 15T Pro is a solid pick. However, some feel that the pricing is too close to the Xiaomi 17 series – more people were willing to pay extra for the flagship model than save some cash and get the vanilla 15T.
TheXiaomi 15Tpoll tells a simple story – most people would rather have the 15T Pro instead. Price is less of a concern here. That’s not surprising given that this is the cheaper model. However, the value proposition isn’t quite there.
The two 15T models arevery similar, but the Pro has more processing power (Dimensity 9400+ vs. 8400 Ultra), a better main camera (1/1.31” vs. 1/1.55” sensor) and longer telephoto lens (5x/115mm vs. 2x/46mm), not to mention a more capable charging system (90W wired + 50W wireless vs. 67W wired only).
We have published ourXiaomi 15T reviewand our15T Pro reviewwith detailed tests and our thoughts on the two phones.
